Take a Seat in Wonderland invites students to create a whimsical, Alice in Wonderland–inspired 1:12 scale chair filled with storybook charm. In this workshop, participants will build and embellish a detailed chair featuring sculpted mushrooms, a playful “this way / that way” sign, playing cards, a copy of Alice in wonderland, a teacup with optional spilled tea, and surrounding flowers and grass. Along the way, students will explore basic sculpting, painting, and aging techniques while learning how to bring narrative and personality into a miniature piece. This class is ideal for miniature makers who enjoy imaginative builds and thoughtful details. Option to paint and detail the chair before class if preferred.
